Service was top notch! The food was mediocre. Liked the creamer option. Chicken Katsu was on the sweeter side but good. The Hawaiian BLT was pretty good but it’s something anyone can put together. The French fries were great! Sadly they made a super light coffee, didn’t taste much coffee. More like hot water with a hint of coffee, so not good. Weird tables, uncomfortable seating. The cafe interior was dark. Restroom smelled quite a bit. Overall, decent for Manteca. Very slim pickings in the area, so worth a stop. Reasonable prices. Really friendly service and efficient.

I had heard great things about this place and a friend asked for a diner. The first place I thought was oh my friends place. Less than zero regrets! The staff was SO friendly and accommodating and the food was out of this world. My Hawaiian friends said it tasted like home.

Never had anything less than an amazing experience here. There’s not a single bad thing on the menu. The owners are great and come out to check on you personally. Amanda is the best!

I love this place. Don't get to go too often but have been going for a few years. Took my sisters here for brunch a few weeks ago and got them hooked too. Friendly and super hot staff, tasty food, and I mean.... bottomless mimosas! It's a no brainer really, check out My Friends Place!!!

I passed this place when going to the DMV that morning. I stopped by for lunch half an hour before closing. Despite them almost finishing up for the day, I was still served with attentiveness and speed, without feeling rushed. I really appreciated that as I wanted to try the place since the drive is out of the way for me. Their Pride flag had immediately caught my eye and I want to commend the owners and staff for keeping it up. I got a beer and their egg, rice and pulled pork dish. It was delicious! If you like strong Hawaiian seasonings, I recommend the pork. Nice and salty but still flavorful. The owner was there and was very approachable. Huge thank you for the pleasant dining experience to my waiter and the cook!

Taste of the food was good, unfortunately, some of our dishes came out a bit cool. Service was okay. The server was really nice, but she had no help and often focused on other things than addressing the customers standing by the door for over 10 mins waiting to be accommodated. Get here when it first opens because it'll be hard to get in and seated.
